Where's Greene Maine?

Greene, Maine is five miles north of Lewiston on the way to Augusta via Route 202.

From the South:

Take the Maine Turnpike North tho the Lewiston exit. At the end of the off ramp, take a left.

You will take your second right which loops around and merges you onto Lisbon St. heading East towards downtown Lewiston. You should see a MacDonalds a few hundred yards ahead on your right. Follow Lisbon Street all the way to the end, which is about 2.5 miles from the Turnpike Exit. You will go through 9 traffic lights. When you get to the end, turn right onto Main St.. Take your fourth right onto Sabattus St., then your second left onto College St. Follow College St. out six miles. Look for Moody's Stables on the left.

From the East:

From the east (e.g. Lisbon, Topsham, Brunswick, etc.) you can take the back roads (a bit faster) or the main roads (a little longer but easier to follow).

The Back Roads. Route 9 to Greene (Lisbon, Sabattus, then Greene). Over the railroad tracks in Greene and take the immediate left onto College Road. Travel about 2 miles and look for Moody's Stables on the right just past Sullivan Rd.

From the North and Downeast: go via Augusta

Take Route 202 South into Greene. About 20 minutes or so out of Augusta, look for the Greene IGA on your right. Sullivan Rd. is about 1/2 mi. past the IGA on your left. It's directly across from St. Francis Catholic Church. Take a left onto Sullivan Rd.

Go to the end of Sullivan Rd. and take a right onto College Rd. Gunn Lane is the 7th driveway on the right (about 1/2 mile).

From the West.

Take Center St. in Auburn towards the Auburn Mall. Take a right onto the Veterans bridge over the river into Lewiston. Take your first left at the light onto Main St. 202N. Go approximatley 4 - 4 1/2 miles. As you approach Sullivan Road, you'll see Store 202 on your right. Slow down, it's just up ahead on your right. The road is not very well marked. It's directly across from St. Francis Roman Catholic church. At night, there's a street light on the corner. (If you come to the Green IGA on your left, you've gone past our road. Turn around. Go back about a half mile.)

Go to the end of Sullivan Rd. and take a right onto College Rd. Gunn Lane is the 7th driveway on the right (about 1/2 mile).
